The rush of the wind is part of the descending dove symbol on this stole. The subtle blue batik fabric seemed perfect for this. See the entire stole with the pieced fabric red and orange border here.

In the church the color gold is saved for the most special of items and occasions. This stole has a gold cross and little bursts of sheer gold fabric to accentuate how special the celebration of Pentecost is. Come Holy Spirit come!
