Oh the joy of receiving a Carrot Top Studio gift certificate in honor of your Ordination! This congregation understands that a new pastor that will be serving in traditional worship will quickly need to collect stoles to make visual connections throughout the entire church year. It was extra special for us that the committee supporting this pastor’s journey understood how special it would be for this artistic minister to be in on the design process. Therefore the gift was for Pastor Chris to be able to work with Carrot Top Studio to create what she needed.

Her request was for a visual interpretation of the prophetic words of Isaiah 9:2 in an Advent stole. So we got to work using a group of fabrics that we hoped would connect to the darkness and new great light that Isaiah tells us about.

The base fabric of this stole is an amazing blue with grades of light at the top to the depths of dark blue at the bottom. .

This commission was extra special for us as we personally know Pastor Chris. It was a great honor to support her ministry with this gift! She’s an artist too and we look forward to seeing how God uses her unique talents and gifts. You can learn more about Chris on her blog here.
