Embracing “Create” as My Word for 2025

As I step into a new year of opportunities, I’ve chosen “create” as my word for 2025. This word resonates deeply with both my artistic journey and the heart of Carrot Top Studio. Creativity is a gift from God, the ultimate Creator, and when we approach our work with Him in mind, it becomes more than art—it becomes an act of worship and a way to align with His purpose.

Choosing “create” reminds me to invite God into my imagination, my studio, and my life. It’s an opportunity to reflect His love, beauty, and truth in everything I make—whether it’s a clergy stole that carries a story, a digital illustration that sparks joy, or a moment of intentionality woven into the everyday.

This year, I’ll lean into the act of creation with purpose and faith, letting the process be as meaningful as the outcome. Like an artist who paints with trust in the unseen masterpiece, I’ll remember that my work is part of God’s greater plan—a plan filled with growth, discovery, and blessings to share.

Together, let’s embrace the word “create” in 2025, finding inspiration in Scripture, the beauty of the world around us, and the joy of partnering with God. Let’s see where this creative journey leads!

May this year be one of bold imagination, intentional acts of love, and a reflection of God’s creativity shining through all we do.
