#743 Christmas clergy stole - Holly and Ivy stole
The stole is embellished with traditional Christmas symbols of holly and a cheery red cardinal. Holly with its prickly edges is a symbol of the forthcoming crown of thorns. And this bird that is seen as a bright spot in a dreary winter is a reminder of God's gift of nature.
The stole front is crafted from white on white printed cotton. The cardinal is appliqued and finished with machine embroidery. The holly is handpainted with textile paint. It is lined with the same cotton fabric as the front and is interfaced for added body.

It measures 4 7/8" wide at the hem and tapers to 2 3/4" at the neck.
