Do you want to help those you minister to understand why you wear a stole in worship? Have a discussion with children, youth (or adults!) highlighting the colors and symbols most typically seen in your faith tradition. Tell them why you wear a stole.
Cap off the activity by handing out "blanks" so the participants can design their own stole to "tell the story." We initially envisioned children using this worksheet during Sunday School, at home, or while listening to the sermon. But we also think the sky’s the limit and look forward to knowing how you use this tool!
