A Kaleidoscope of Choices: Advent Stoles from Carrot Top Studio

While walking through the church year calendar, the Advent season offers a canvas for creativity and expression. At Carrot Top Studio, we believe that every ministry is unique, and so are the individuals who serve within it. That's why our collection of Advent stoles is as diverse as the ministries they adorn. From traditional designs to contemporary expressions, we offer a kaleidoscope of choices that reflect the multifaceted nature of faith and devotion. Join us as we journey through the spectrum of Advent stoles, each a vibrant piece of artistry, each with a unique story to tell.

At the manger,

we typically are presented with an ox and donkey in a nativity scene. Despite the animals not appearing in the gospel accounts this stole design references the prophecy of Isaiah 1:3 as follows -

“The ox knows its owner and the donkey its master’s manger; Israel has no knowledge, my people have no understanding.”

Therefore may this stole be a visual reminder of asking: “Who do you say that I am?” ***It’s available in purple too!

Love the symbolism of the donkey? You might also like our ‘be the donkey’ sticker and the blog post we wrote on this theme!

Joy and Peace stole

Isaiah 52:7-10 was the inspiration for this stole. The dove is the symbol that proclaims peace amongst the joyful trees. This stole is unique as it combines both the blues and the purples used during the Advent season. The beautiful batik background is the perfect background to accent the feeling of joy when we proclaim "He Reigns!"

All the blues!

This unique stole declares the beauty of the heavens in the many shades of blue sparkled with gold. The blues also remind us of Genesis 1 and the new creation.

Advent journey

The labyrinth is a tool to facilitate prayer, meditation, and spiritual formation. Perfect for Advent! This stole is for one who is called to use a labyrinth or encourages others to do so. The images on this stole are based on the labyrinth at Chartres Cathedral, France. May it be a reminder of peace and drawing closer to God. This stole is a good buy as you can wear it for Lent too!

At Carrot Top Studio, we understand that ministry comes in many forms, and so do our stoles. As we conclude our exploration of the kaleidoscope of Advent stoles, we invite you to discover the perfect stole that resonates with your unique ministry. Whether you seek the classic elegance of tradition or the bold statements of contemporary design, our collection is a testament to the diversity of faith and the power of art to express it. With each stole, a story unfolds, a journey continues, and the Advent season is beautifully illuminated.
