#484 Advent clergy stole - Candle stole (purple)
This purple clergy stole reflects the traditional use of candles during the season of Advent. The candles remind us of John 8:12 "When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." The evergreen holly leaves represent God’s everlasting love for us.
The stole front is crafted from cotton fabrics. The symbols are appliquéd and finished with machine embroidery. It is lined with the same fabric as the front and is interfaced for added body. The candles are accented with hand painted details with textile paint.
Stole is 51” long.
It measures 4 7/8" wide at the hem and tapers to 2 1/2" at the neck.
