#550 Advent clergy stole - Jesse tree symbol stole
The Jesse Tree is named from Isaiah 11:1: "A shoot will spring forth from the stump of Jesse, and a branch out of his roots." It is a vehicle to tell the Story of God in the Old Testament and to connect the Advent Season with the faithfulness of God across 4,000 years of history. This stole displays the Stars of Abraham, Sarah's tent of hospitality, a bundle of sticks for Isaac, Rebekah's water jar, the coat of many colors worn by Joseph, a burning bush, Miriam's tambourine, a trumpet for Gideon, grain for Ruth, and David's lyre.
The stole front is crafted from cotton and linen fabrics. The symbols are appliquéd and finished with machine embroidery. It is lined with the same fabric as the front and is interfaced for added body. The stole is accented with hand painted stars around the neck.
Stole is available in several lengths as listed..
It measures 4 7/8" wide at the hem and tapers to 2 1/2" at the neck.
